The City of Gluckstadt has introduced their new App - "Gluckstadt on the Go" which has been a work in progress since late February.  The new app will provide citizens and businesses with a wealth of information including:

• Latest News
• Weather



Through the app, citizens will have access to important information with concern to their local government, including access to meeting minutes, ordinances, resolutions, forms, policies and procedures. Additionally, users will have the ability to view and download departmental forms, as well as submit questions or report issues to city departments. The app also functions as a 311 service, giving the city administration the ability to push notifications to citizens in real time concerning issues like road closures, severe weather, or reminders for upcoming board meetings and community events.

Gluckstadt on the Go highlights our local businesses, as it is a one stop shop for finding information on all businesses located within Gluckstadt; business owners are able to utilize the app to promote their products and services, as well as detail information such as location, contact information and hours of operation. Additionally, for visitors, the app provides information on area schools, neighborhoods, churches, as well as metro-area activities such as museums, local hiking or walking trails, camping, boating, children’s activities and more.

The app is free to download from any cellular app store. All citizens and business owners are encouraged to download the “Gluckstadt on the Go” app (and allow push notifications) so they can stay up to date with city news!
